The book had a good premise but didn't really work for me. Characters felt flat and didn’t really have enough to them. Twist at the end was predictable, but still felt rushed!

This was a great and enjoyable thriller. I loved the different character POV's and how they all intertwined so well!

I didn't know what outcome I was expecting, but I was not disappointed! Some great little twists throughout.

This is the first book I've read by this author, and I will definitely be picking up some of her other books.

✨️Thanks to Harper Collins for the ARC✨️

The kind of perfectly serviceable thriller to cleanse the palate between heavier books

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the various perspectives throughout - Gemma in the past with Kat and Jude in the present day.

One of the problems that I have is that the ending was rushed and it didn't feel like all the characters got a proper ending. After going through the details of each of their lives and involvement in the plot, it just fell flat when it came to wrapping it up. There's also the fact that one of the POV's isn't actually relevant to the story and it would've been better to replace it with Oliver's as it would be the interesting to see his take on what happened.

Overall, I enjoyed the book up until the end which is a shame as it could've wrapped up so much better.
