This book is an absolute fucking nightmare, I mean this in the best way possible. 
Not for even the remotely faint of heart, I usually have a strong stomach for media like this but event I had to avoid the book for a couple of days when my real life got stressful.

Disappointing…. I need twist and turns and surprises in my stories. I guessed everything… and that’s disappointing to me.

This book loses like a quarter of a star because of the last chapter. It's probably 10 lines and right now I'm a little mad at it.
My roommate loves this book. He's very unsettled by it and I agree, v spoopy, v uncomfy, v no thank you. But...I just really need to read a horror book that commits to an ending. The last 3 have been all hand-wavy and I just want something else.

This book was truly disturbing. I felt so many emotions through out its’ pages. I don’t know what to say other than if you have not experienced this book, you should give it a try. Five stars and the promise to read more from Nick Cutter.
