A wonderful short story with all of the warmth, rich detail and nuanced characters that we love and expect from the uber-talented Amor Towles. I listened on Audible, expertly narrated by John Lithgow.
The Didomenico Fragment centers around an older man who has had a piece of artwork divided amongst his family over the years. Finding himself a little short on money, and used to living in a particularly comfortable way, he sets out to broker a sale of one of the last remaining sections of the artwork that remains in the family.
