i liked it a bit less than steppenwolf and narcissus and goldmund because there was less talk of art but hesse still leaves me feeling more enlightened after i read one of his books. still finding his preocupation with the duality of the human soul. everything is one or the other and at the same time we are all one and the other

Este libro es bastante enigmático tanto en historia como en personajes. Me parece que la historia tiene una estructura muy particular que nos mantiene en una constante tensión. Nos mantiene expectantes sobre como es que podría terminar la novela.
Aun en el final no tenía ni idea de lo que podría pasar en el último capítulo.
Fue una historia que disfrute mucho.
