A really enjoyable magical adventure. There are some fun characters and some great word play. I loved the little details and the descriptions that brought things alive.
Looking forward to reading the second one.

Cute! Recommend for kids who like fantasy and are maybe grades 2-4.

Wonderful, magical tale for middle grade readers with witches on broomsticks, trolls and a magnificent feathered dragon. Great message of everyone being valuable , all with our own talents and a sparky female protagonist who is brave, loyal and stronger than she knows.
This book whisks you away on an action packed magic adventure with Willow Moss as she searches for the lost day. But why is a day missing? And how on earth is Willow, the least magical of her family, supposed to find it?
A lovely book for children, Dominique Valente has written a story which allows the imagination to run wild in a world full of magic, dragons and friendship.
This book would be perfect for young readers 7+ to encourage independent reading, or as a read with a parent book for younger children. The book is written with nice sized chapters, and is beautifully illustrated by Sarah Warburton

"Magic never dies. It simply waits until we are ready for it."
representation: none from what I can remember!

★★★
I would have loved this when I was younger/I'll definitely keep it for Amelie in the future, but for me it just wasn't anything super original or exciting.
trigger warnings: mild fantasy violence, death of a grandparent.

DNF,
put it down about 50 pages in and never thought about it again. it is time to let go.
