The idea of the book is interesting, that the universe was giving her a slip of paper telling her the timeline of every relationship.
But this just wasn’t for me, I wasn’t a fan of Daphne the main character. I understand her being emotional represent almost due to her illness. But I wasn’t a fan of how she treated Jake (?) No surprise that it was Hugo at the end, kinda liked that.

This book took a lot of unexpected turns, and I think overall in a good way. I saw some people saying there was a bit of a bait and switch with some of the main plot points/ devices being used in the story, but it ended up working for me. It wasn’t perfect, it dragged a bit at certain parts, a few times I wondered where it was going to go for the rest of the book, and some stuff felt a bit convenient, but it came together and was very emotional and reflective at the end.  I really enjoyed the supporting characters and the build of the relationships and timeline in the book.
