I love the Stephanie Plum novels but dislike any author who tries to hop on this supernatural bandwagon/hype. There was no reason to bring anything supernatural to the Plum world. Her stories were cute and sassy but this one was stupid and pointless.

The fact that this book has a character oh-so-cleverly named Sandy Claws, and another, a grandmother who oh-so-cutely talks about her new stud muffin, is enough to tell you how much imagination went into writing this story. If this were a movie, it would be a 3rd rate straight-to-DVD (not even worth a Blue Ray) one. My first, and probably last, attempt at a Janet Evanovich book.
Very cute - the first Between the Numbers Evanovich did. Lula is always terrific, but there wasn't as much of her here as I would have liked.

I have to say this book surprised me with how good it was I give it five stars because it actually gave me chills with the ending it was so perfectly wrapped up. I was looking for a book written by someone I already knew I loved and for a book with a narrator voice I already knew I loved but I didn't want it to be a long one like most of my series books are. This book fit the bill by being less than 150 pages and being a spin off series of the Stephanie Plum books. Great job Evanovich I really loved it!
