Great Mystery. The story kept me intrigued. I enjoyed the main female character I like that she was badass without making dumb decisions. I enjoyed that a lot of the commentary from the FMC was with the animals and then commuting back to her. I thought that was great.

The "manhunt" aspect of every single woman in this book was a bit much. It also became a bit confusing at times keeping who was who straight.

When psychic innkeeper Elizabeth "Bizzy" Baker Wilder returns home from her honeymoon, she finds that her staff has turned her inn into a haunted Halloween wonderland (including one haunted doll that seems to be following Bizzy around). Bizzy finds another dead body, and she should be overjoyed when her husband's evil ex, Camila, is the prime suspect. However, Bizzy being Bizzy, she can't help but investigate to clear Camila's name.

While this is a cute novel (elevated by all of the Halloween elements of the story), it doesn't quite measure up to its predecessor. With its more complicated plot and

murderer, Just Buried felt like it had more depth. This book is still fun and entertaining.
