I can’t lie I was a bit bored at first. I can respect work building but the first 100 pages seemed to drag along. So I borrowed the audiobook as well hoping that would help & it did! Hearing the voices of the characters made me more obsessed to see where the story was going.

While in the moment of most of the book I wasn't thinking "this is a five star read" I was absolutely bawling my eyes out at the very end. I enjoyed Ricki working to find herself and her place in the world and ease with which her love was described. A wonderful story overall and I would highly recommend it.

I also enjoyed the small reference to Seven Days in June, which I also loved.
