A cozy mystery. Witches. Tea Shop. A mysterious murder.
What more could I want?
This was a really fun cozy to read. I was getting tickled at certain points, especially the play between Raven and her newly acquired familiar.
Raven's estranged grandmother has passed, leaving her with a tea shop. The caveat? She has to come and live in Paramour Bay for 12 months, running the tea shop. Raven decides this is perfect timing since her life has been crumbling, and a fresh new start is just what she needs. But then her grandmother's lawyer is found dead in the back of the tea shop, and this sets into motion more questions than answers.
I enjoyed getting to know Raven as she begins the discovery of who she is, and I really hope we get more of her best friend in the series because those two are dynamic on the page together. They really do need to be business partners in this tea shop.

New author to me. I really enjoyed listening to this book. Cute little cozy witch mystery.

It was ok. Raven was kind of annoying and not very bright. The "romance" between her and the sheriff felt forced. And the murderer seemed a random choice. A quick, easy read if that's what you're in the mood for.

Cute, short read. I've listened to Hollie Jackson narrate before, and she didn't disappoint with this one.

2.25ish. I found the writing style confusing to follow at times but I enjoyed the "cosy" tea shop setting.

This was such a great introduction to a series. I love cozy witch series. Raven is such a fun character. I cannot wait to read more about her and the community she has found herself in.
