This wasn't a bad book, but it was incredibly frustrating to read. I was screaming at the FMC the whole time, had to skip past most of the spice, and rolled my eyes so hard at the incredible power jump. But it wasn't bad. It was a fun read, casual and light. I just unfortunately guessed the twist too soon and it made the book painfully frustrating.

Romance was lacking, but probably because she had a man in the beginning so I’m sure it’ll be better in the second book. Unfortunately I do read for the romance so that’s a big factor in my rating but I’m interested to see what the second book brings

Honestly tore thru it. She a big book, but everything felt very satisfyingly wrapped up by the end of the book. It's rare to get that these days for trilogies. Fourth wing for dogs is a go
