started off a bit slow but once it got going, i was hooked and couldn't put the book down. i was intrigued by the plot and although some things were predictable, some things kept me on the edge my seat, devouring each page to find out what happens next

This was everything I love in a romantasy. I've seen it compared to Fourth Wing, and I have to agree. While some of the plot was mildly predictable, it was written so well, and it made for such a fun experience. The angst, the plot twists, the faux enemies-to-lovers with the broody instructor, all of it was done really well. 

I was gifted an ALC of the audiobook, and it was absolutely perfect! The narrators were fantastic, and its duet narration!

Solid story/plot but very predictable. Wish there was more of stark, felt like it was missing but also get it for the story sake. Could have definitely been a few hundred page shorter i got pretty annoyed/bored around the 60% mark, where not much was really happening or was taking too long to happen

Great set up for book 2. Will definitely be continuing!

I freaking love the FMC in this one, Meryn! Terrific story, I didn't want to put this down. Like due to foreshadowing, I did find this one easy to predict. I also got an extremely strong Fourth Wing vibe off this... except with dire wolves instead of dragons.
I will definitely be continuing this series!
