This is a lovely tale of a talented yet awkward boy who finds someone to appreciate him. The appreciation lends the boy confidence enough to open up to someone else. In turn, he understands how to care for his family.
I won't spoil the ending. But yes, if the reader does not cry, I suspect they aren't human.
I'm still crying. Go me.
I think everyone should read this story.

Thank god it's meant for 9+ year-old children. If it was a YA or full on adult fiction I would have broken down like I did with the film
