Still a good book but compared to the others this one is a snoozefest. I don't care nearly as much about the aliens as I do the human wars, and conflicts. Also had some questionable POV characters. I feel like the series has never quite returned to the absolute top tier POV characters like in the first book.

JSAC takes on the frontier in the latest Expanse book, taking what could've been a massively complicated plot development and encapsulating it to one place, grounding the story. Once again, through an interesting setting, endearing characters, and a plot that keeps you turning pages, this haunted house story makes for another fine addition to the series.
