Book 4! Each book gets better. Loving this series and am forcing myself to not hop right into the next book. I wanna savor it a bit more. 

I really loved the dynamic between Holden and Murtry with Amos standing right there. Very fun character work in this book, and Holden remains my favorite Boy Scout.

After the highs of Abbadon's Gate, this installment took a few stumbles. I felt like this was definitely a bridge story, one that could have been condensed by a good amount. In addition, this series is so dependent on being attached to the characters introduced, and I was not invested as much in these characters this time around.

This book out of all the books so far, was the worst. 
It was dull. It was slow. The plot was not plotting. 
I loved having Havelock back but… this story just put me to sleep. And I feel like the ending is unclear, hopefully that gets touched on in the next book?
