This was a truly interesting read, short and to the point it had a great leading plot of murder mystery with our main characters a bounty hunter and a tourist working together to find the truth.

The forced contact of investigating together brings up a lot of feeling, past and present for our bounty hunter, and present and future for our tourist teacher turned investigator.

Overall I did engage with the storyline and think it was a great storyline, what lost me was the sex fest throughout.  It is a Tessa Bailey book so that’s no surprise, but unfortunately it’s not for me so I think it’s unlikely I’ll revisit her books again.

I am really questioning my reading choices. I knew going in it was going to be smutty, but dear Lord. Of all the places in the book... Post-ice cream location was the worst. (Iykyk)
And where did the plot go. There's a literal murder on the loose and there's very little worry about it, despite the situations she ends up in.
Another self published book that I managed to read unintentionally. At least this one is funny, but I don't think I'll continue with this author.

Closed Door Mods: Chapter 5 (some parts), Chapter 8-10 (some parts), Chapter 12 (some parts), Chapter 16 (some parts), Chapter 18 (some parts), Chapter 22 (some parts)

This book was good, but nothing spectacular. Bailey does a good job with writing her morally gray grump MMC and sunshine FMC in this summer rom-com thriller, though the thriller/mystery aspects are lacking between the middle/end of the book. Also, if you’re not a fan of romance books with tons of spice, this is not going to be the book for you. While the relationship built-up was strong throughout the book, it felt like it was more insta-lust, which I wasn’t a fan of. Don’t know if I would read this again, but it’s not terrible.

Really enjoyed reading and I wasn't entirely sure where it would lead to in the end! Did keep me guessing! Really loveable characters too!! Not sure if I would re-read a bunch just because now I do know the ending, but maybe once or twice! Especially to see if I can pick up anything I missed on the first read!

Tessa Bailey does it again!! This book is adorable. Taylor and Myles are adorable together and their relationship not only makes sense but it felt like every interaction was magnetic. I usually hate the whole they fall in love in 5 days shit but this book does it right.
