One of the disappointing tales of Poirot. I had my hopes high for this one. The book is good in the first half, however, the second half of the book is quite tasteless. There were no good clues in the book, which is a trademark of Agatha's books. The ending is bad and indeed unpredictable. The turn of events is not what one see coming and in my honest opinion, does not even make sense at all!

this was a fantastic cristie poirot novel i have been slowly reading them in order and you can see the progression of how good her writing is some of the language does date it to the time written but i recommend it i didn't pick up on who done it because this was my 1st cristie in about a year at least
