Set in a dilapidated and ‘evil’ home in the quaint English town of St. Loo, Christie’s Peril at End House is a tragedy set against the backdrop of a high-flying record-breaking golden age.
I won’t spoil anything, but I did find that some of the side-plots and ‘attempts’ didn’t make a great deal of sense afterward, and Poirot’s competence doesn’t really shine through in this one, but the final twist was great and I loved the take on a well-trodden motive.

This book is a true page-turner, I devoured it in 2 days. No matter how smart you think you are, you will not see this ending coming.
As with other books by Christie, I wasn't expecting that.

Oooo I liked this one! The twist was really good, and I didn’t see it coming.
