So good!

Admittedly, the beginning of this book had me questioning whether or not I would like it. I’m so glad that I read past it, though. Loved this book. Really should have expected it because this author never disappoints.

Ope.
Set off a curse.
What a way to start a romance, lol.

Read in Jan 2012

Reread June 2013, still just as amazing.

Definitely lighter than the previous book in this series. I like that they travel to our world, was a bit surprised that Tor would fit in so well. A little disappointed that the heroines are all starting to sound alike. Still devoured this book and eagerly onto the next.

Quick Thoughts: Hands down my favorite in the series. I think Fantastical is everything that is Magical about KA's writing. She beautifully wove Cora and Tor's love story. I LOVED IT!

Audio Quick Thoughts: On the same hand as KA's writing on this one, Tilly was in her element. She brought Cora and Tor beautifully to life!

"Does this mean I'm a princess?" I asked He started at me looking annoyed for a second then he say back and signed, "That's what usually happens when a woman marries a prince." ..... "Oh my God, I'm a Princess."
I just want to say why the hell can't I wake up and find out I am married to a prince. I would totally rock at being a princess. sigh.

Cora is one of my favorite heroines of all time. She is brave, funny, lovably and is nice to everyone. I loved how she would just go off on rants and Tor would just sit there. Adorable. She didn't just give up when everyone hated her. Yeah sure she cried for a little bit, had a little pity party but who the hell wouldn't. Hello she woke up in a different world where everyone spat at her! But then she got over it and turned everything around and made the people love her just by being her. And to me the character wasn't like overly fake. You know how it is when they are so nice that its unbelievable. Yeah well Cora wasn't. Kristen Ashley did an amazing job at making an annoyingly nice person 100% lovable.

They spent time in our world!! this is what I have been waiting for! The whole thing with the bad Cora and the other Noc was pretty cool too. I mean kinda sad for the other Noc but I loved that some of the story finally took place in our world.

Cant wait to read the next one!

This series has been fun this book however did not live up to the first two. I'd say you would have to read them in order to get the most pleasure but for some reason this books heroine ... Cora sounded just like the first two. Tor however was kind of an ass, and he wasn't as alpha as the first two. More like a jerk. So this guy doesn't get my alpha male shelf because he was just plain a jerk for most of the book. He simply placates Cora to get his way which is horrible and kind of makes him spoiled.
