I can't believe KA made me read a greenflag MMC LMAO. I hated that so much.

This book really had the makings of an amazing story, but it's predecessor being the godly The Golden Dynasty meant that this book had BIG boots to fill in, and it failed spectacularly.

First, the plot was.. non existent? I loved, LOVED the starting of the book, and the general idea of falling in love with a sunshine FMC from another world even though you loathe the current version of her that is from your world. But it all.. fizzled out? the plot moved on too quick, and the MMC was suddenly okay with the FMC, and fell for her. The Golden Dynasty kept me on my toes rooting for Lahn and Circe, whereas I couldn't really care enough for Tor and Cora, they were a sweet couple but there was no passion whatsoever. You root for them, but they don't consume you like Lahn and Circe do. Those mere paragraphs where Lahn and Circe made cameos had more chemistry than these two had in the entire book.

Finally, there wasn't much going on honestly. It wouldn't have mattered in the grand scale of things if Tor and Cora's relationship was interesting. But since it failed on both fronts I am so upset that I am stopping my Fantasyland journey here.

Lastly again, KA what the fuck????? how could you make me read a greenflag MMC?????????

4.5 stars!

Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band

Another great addition to the series! I’m so in love with these Alpha heroes and the ways they’ll do anything for the women they love.

Whenever I hear a book is about a hero falling in love with a twin/anyone who looked like a passed love my response has always been:

It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I absolutely hate it. And yet Kristen Ashley has gotten me to read 3 books about it and love every second of it. She’s one talented writer, that’s for sure.

Cora wakes up to find out she is a princess, Tor is her prince and lets just say everyone in the kingdom hates her ass. Apparently her twin is a major biatch and was mean to everyone she's ever set eyes one, especially Tor. Things don't start off well between Cora and Tor and he doesn't believe her when she tries to explain that she has no idea where she is. Lots of very interesting twist and turns happen throughout this book but ultimately we get to see two characters find their soul mates.

It makes me so sad that I’m almost done with this series, I don’t want it to end! I’ll be dragging out these last two books, that’s for sure.

Loved it!!!!

Wow, I adored this book! Cora is great and Tor is smoking hot. I love how it tied into the other books (eventually) and can’t wait to read what is next.

I can’t think of another KA book that I devoured so quickly. Once I started this, I couldn’t put it down. I figured, I’d read a few chapters before bed and before I knew it, it was morning, the sky outside my window was starting to lighten and I was 90% into the book. Well, what was a girl to do? I was that far…what’s a little less sleep when I could finish it in one sitting? So, I snuggled back down, picked up my kindle and finished the book.

I loved every moment of this book. From the time Cora woke up in Fantasyland until the final line setting up the next book. There was never a moment that irritated me or that I wanted to change. This series is by far, my favorite KA series. Each and every book has been awesome.

I’ll admit, going into this book, while I was looking forward to reading it, I wasn’t really looking forward to Noctorno (aka Tor). I didn’t have enough info about him from the first book to really care about him. But the same could be said about Lahn & Circe and I loved that book too. So, I was more than game to give myself over to Tor and fall into his world right along with Cora.

I thought about breaking down exactly what I liked about Cora and Tor but…it’s something you have to experience as opposed to something I can put into words. They just worked for me. I loved that she really got her point across to him multiple times and I loved the twist later in the book that made this book different from the other two. I was so excited to see Tor out of his element.

My one issue came at the end of the book. It wasn’t anything huge, it just made me nervous about reading Apollo’s book.

But other than that, this book and series overall, has been perfection.

4.5 stars! I LOVE THIS SERIES!

I really like this series and this story is another great addition to it. Looking forward to the next one.
