But guess what it is a total standalone that will suck you into to the suspense and drama surrounding Cane O'Reilly and Charlie, the woman he is protecting.
She has been the obsession of Anson Deveraux since she escaped captivity. He will do anything to get her and I mean ANYTHING!!!! HOLY MOLY hold on to your hat. This is a wild ride. Close Encounter. As with all the stories in this collection this story is set during an area wide blackout in Las Vegas. It is gripping, suspenseful and tender. Cane is tasked with protecting Charlie and was not supposed to fall for her, but life has other plans. Eddie and Skye, working their usual cons, are just in the wrong place at the wrong time and manage to save the day. However, did the bad guy die or did he live to return another day!
I well, this anthology was different and in such an amazing new way, so many different characters and stories but written by amazingly talented authors. From drama, to funny, it has them all. The book boyfriends are some you want to read and keep.
I got to read Hard Luck by KA Ware which I totally loved. I really enjoyed Nix and Ellis story which I hope their will be more because I need more lol.. I can't wait to read the other story's in this book because I know that they going to be great
I read Close Encounter by Stephanie St. Klaire. I loved this story. It was funny, sexy, and had great characters. I was thrilled to read more from the Brothers Keeper Series. I can’t wait to read more about Cane & Charlie! I also can’t wait to read the rest of the stories from Blackout!
I read Going Down by Lisa Shelby. The characters were intriguing and I am hoping to see them in future books. Rachel and Reece have a not so good history and when the lights go out, things will never be the same!! Loved it.

This is the first book I have read from Stephanie. Very interesting. Very intense on the edge of my seat moments. Great beginning to this set of stories. Close Encounter is a thrill ride from beginning to end. Suspense twists and turns. Shocking moments once the lights go out. But non-stop action. She gained a fan with this one. Can't wait to read more from her and this amazing series of stories.
