I actually would give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars (Goodreads just doesn't have a way to give the .5 as an option) This was a really cute story. It gave me Gossip Girl meets Pretty Little Liar vibes hardcore with hits of THE SKULLS (The 90's horror classic movies). I wasn't like riveted until like the last 100 or so pages so that is why it gets such a low rating but in other ways it was a good book I guess.

Kind of predictable but so good. I'm sorry but the film references were too obvious and were annoying at times.
i think i am officially too old for ya novels. this was just so predictable and boring and surface level i ended up skimming until 50% and then completely abandoning it. also maybe it's just because i'm a lesbian but whyyyy do all female protagonists just lose every single braincell as soon as they get a "hot" boy's attention?? are teenage hormones really that much worse than i remember?
