So this book surprised me! I really enjoyed it and to be honest I didn't see that ending coming!
I definitely felt awkward reading this book on my Kindle but it was a thrilling read I liked the ending a lot. It did have a slow start for me. I'm glad I kept going with it!
I enjoyed the writing style a lot and I think this book was a story I've never read before and I don't think I've read anything like it!
I will be recommending this gift to lots of my friends!

I have many thoughts about this book- Mostly good ones! The story was great; fun, creepy and full of twists and turns but the random movie inserts seemed out of place and unnecessary.
**SPOILERS**
The last few S.TA.G.S II chapters....I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS. To start with, I felt like it was an unnecessary "where are they now" thing, I thought I would have liked to be left guessing. But then the cult twist was like woah! and then that seemed to resolve itself really quickly with the Abbott...and then there was more and I loved it but it left me a bit confused but also I understood it. So basically by the actual end I was left wanting more but at the same time, I wouldn't hate it if there wasn't more-which I think is a testament to a good ending.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this so well plotted, and with such full characters. While still holding on to the emotional ups and downs that mark adolescence, the characters had deep backstories that were slowly revealed throughout the book. I was thinking about this book long after I turned the last page. The main character broke "the fourth wall" with not-so subtle hints and foreshadowing - happily this was in keeping with her teen character, and there were layers of other hints and foreshadowing occurring. Overall, it was a clever read, and one I would return to again in the hopes of catching all the clues I missed the first time around.
