As a former preschool teacher that loves psychological thrillers, this book is great. I have encountered many Hannahs and the book captures the cycle of denial and good intentions that parents of children with behavioral issues go through. Let's face it, patenting doesn't come with instructions and it would be nightmarish when your child tries to kill you for no reason.

what did i just read?!? creepy little child that’s WAY too obsessed with her father 😳 i enjoyed seeing both mom & daughters perspectives. i felt like there was too much backstory for the mom, and felt myself skimming over most of it. i found it quite annoying how the father took so long to believe the mom. there was a lot of 😲🫨😬🫣 if you want something with disturbing shock value i definitely recommend!
