Det er skrivestilen, der gør, at jeg står af. Det er svært at beskrive. Selve handlingen er interessant, men jeg måtte kæmpe mig igennem den.

Ravensong is a beautiful continuation to the first book in the Green Creek series. Here we follow Gordo Livingstone’s perspective and see his past and also the present of the pack and him and Mark’s relationship. I loved this book a lot and the characters in this story will probably always have a place in my heart because that’s how amazing they are and they truly carried this story for me. Gordo is the most loveable asshole character I have ever read about and I really enjoyed getting to see more of his past. His relationships with the pack and Mark really change a lot and I loved seeing his soft side. Mark gets a lot of time here too which is really nice since in Wolfsong he doesn’t get a ton of development but we get to see his absolute love and devotion to Gordo. I love this couple a lot!
As much as I wanted to give this book a perfect 5/5 I couldn’t rightfully do so with the gripes I did have about it. I thought there was a little too much recapping in the start of the book and I found myself putting the book down a lot because I was getting bored. (This is probably because I read this immediately after Wolfsong)
Another issue I had with it was how long certain conflicts lasted and I felt some of it was being drawn out too much.
As much of a fan of Gordo as I am I was getting fed up with his reluctance to talk to Mark and how stubborn he was. I really needed their relationship to start sooner then for hardship to happen then for the happy ending rather than the order it plays out in.
All in all I think I just wanted more romance between them and even just a little bit more interaction, with more smaller intimate moments I think I would have been more gripped by the sad parts.
I really loved the ending and all of the twists and turns the story takes didn’t seem too predictable to me and was shocking and a really good surprise for me.
I really was happiest when Ox and Joe were on page along with Carter and Kelly, I think no matter what when they are on page they will always draw my attention no matter what. I’m looking forward to reading their stories in the rest of the green creek series
All in all I absolutely loved this book and I will continue to recommend the Green Creek series to anyone I think may like it!

OK… I really enjoy TJ Klunes books. I’m really enjoying this paranormal series from him. I like how he adds different elements throughout the different books, including werewolves magic, which is. I feel like how I do with the most series that I need to take a break to be able to get through this long series (4 books). I’m sure a lot of people would say that this isn’t a long series. And I’m sure I’ve read longer series than this, but because this is a series that next all the plot together for me to be able to continue the series I think I’m gonna need a mini break. I’m very much enjoying that each books main characters are new main characters, but they’re all brought up in all of the books.
Overall, I really liked this book and enjoy this series.
