I love Something Is Killing The Children and I wanted to love this too, but it just wasn't good. None of the characters were likable and the relationship between the two leads felt forced, rushed and unnatural.

It's a weird, wicked whirl of a world, and I'm delighted to learn and observe more. A secret order with history and rules that relentlessly kills monsters is cool as hell and I just want to unearth all the strange goodness of the endeavor. Here, you get a charming, complicated love story of sorts tied in too. Neat stuff.

Slow start to Aaron's story but a fantastic set up at the end. Must read for fans of There's Something Killing the Children.
