It seemed like a second prologue, retelling the first book again.

Very short and things happen quickly. (spoilers) It doesn't go into why she is forced to change schools. And a grandmother who routinely takes care of you should abandon you permanently, which is how this seemed to me. It was ok, but not a favorite and if I didn't already plan to read the series it could kept me from reading it.

Seriously? This is an embarrassment to Read, quite frankly. It's almost as if it were the prologue to the first book that was cut from the story and was never meant to be released. The 'story' is reminiscent of the Harry Potter series, and needs a lot of originality to be added, as well as some build up and an expanded vocabulary. Many ideas could have been more original and a whole lot less blunt. Oh, and the thing that really grated my nerves- HINDSIGHT!!! That entire sentence completely took the surprise out of the 'tragedy' and was, honestly, quite annoying.

A great intro into the Mythos Academy world i cant wait to get stuck in!!!

It's definitely a start to a series- it's got me interested in the rest of the series and it was a quick and interesting read (the sub jest matter was surprisingly dark so I wouldn't say a fun read).

This is an emotionally packed primer for the series but it makes me excited to read the rest of the books.

Umm. Okay. I don't really know what to think of this yet. The series seems like it will be a good one but I don't know if I'm going to like Gwen. She seems kind of superficial so hopefully she'll grow out of it and become a heroine that I can admire. *crosses fingers*
