Again, I did not see that ending coming! I love how Anna finishes these books, you just feel the NEED to continue the story ASAP! It's not my favourite book, but I really did love it if you take into consideration that it's really a fanfic. It's very addictive and easy to read, although not easy for your emotions! I really like the character developments in this book, it made me less and less annoyed at them haha.
I’m pretty sure if you took out all the sex scenes, this book would be about 20 pages. And if you took out the fights between Hardin and Tessa, you wouldn’t have a book. That said, I still enjoyed it for what it is, but I don’t think books should be promoting the relationship Hardin & Tessa have. Abuse is not love.
I really really REALLY love drama and after movies are my favs, but this one was somehow a let-down. In the end I was begging for all this bs drama to stop and for someone to knock some damn sense into Tessa. Hardin is a lost cause imo...

P.S. I REALLY REALLY NEED A BOOK WHERE TESSA AND ZED ARE IN A DAMN RELATIONSHIP!! I'd pay good money for that, still rooting for Zed even though I expect him in the end to not be as good as he seems to be.
Both Tessa and Hardin are pretty shallow, they never stop arguing and they need 10 years to forgive, moreover Zed becomes more important in this book but he's unbearable.

Dear god, Jane Austen and Emily Bronte would be apoplectic if they knew that their novels were being used as comparisons to this loathsome couple. Hardin Scott is a violent, disgusting predator. Tessa is a naive, dull hypocrite. Boring, repetitive and unbelievable characters. This book glamorizes emotional abuse and toxic behavior and lacked the melodramatic thrill of the first installment. It ended on a cliffhanger intended to stir up excitement for the next book, but I need a break from this series.
