I did not know what to expect from this book. But it was well-written and definitely thought provoking. The story creeps under your skin and is definitely not a light read. On the other hand: I've read some comments about the book being banned because you could get too much empathy for the shooter. That made me curious about his past and motive. After reading the book, I can definitely not agree with the empathy part.
The plot twist in the end was also a bit random to be honest. For a book this big it felt a bit rushed in the end. With some unnecessary developments and add-ons on the last pages, in my opinion.
However all in all I would definitely recommend this book. The topic and writing style makes me curious to read more about this writer.

Another hard read. This was about a school shooting. Told through different students, parents and law enforcement. It’s devastating know that some kids feel that this is the only way to take back their power. Bullying is a plague that eats away at people.
