A tough read, of course due to the subject matter, but also due to the length of the novel. It was thought provoking and really made me think about school shootings as a tragedy on both sides that I hadn’t considered previously. Pretty long winded in my opinion which made it kinda tough to get through, but it was worth making it to the end.

I recently saw that Nineteen Minutes was one of the most banned books in the 23-24 school year. This, of course, made me want to read it, and I was not disappointed.
This book was a very thought provoking read and provided commentary about the making of a mass shooting incident at a high school and how the aftermath of a tragedy can impact everyone in a small town in many different ways.
All of the characters were fleshed out extremely well, and I was questioning the "good guys" and the "bad guys" until the very end. I have a feeling this won't be a book that I forget anytime soon.
