The characters (Nico, Tristan and Libby) loved - Parisa too.
But the plot? soo incredibly and painfully slow, forced myself to finish it. 500 pages and literally nothing happened? Also the writing not for me.

I started this one in physical book form and it was hard to stay interested, but then transferred to audiobook and instantly found it easier to get through.
I'm not huge on the fantasy genre, and I found some of the descriptions made it hard to capture what was truly going on. But I did find the ending compelling and interesting! Not a page turner for me per se, but wouldn't be opposed to reading the sequels.

it’s too info-dumpy for my tastes. and like especially the penultimate chapter. i hate when a book monologues the backstory at the end.
i loved this book!! cant wait for the show, honestly took a while for me to like some of the characters but it was great
