Let me kick this off, crew, please read trigger warning ⚠️ before diving into this book! While I thoroughly enjoyed this, there may be content in this book that puts you off.

Ballad of Nightmares is a fantasy, paranormal, dark romance, with a fliud third person/dual POV between out main characters Sam (Death) and Ana (Deianira). In addition to fantastic world building, this is very much an enemies to lovers, anti-hero with some very morally grey characters, but hey, Grey is my favorite colour 😏!

I absolutely loved the banter between Sam and Ana! The first 5 chapters had me absolutely hooked! And Chapter 27, *chefs kiss*!! Then we hit Chapter 41 and need to absolutely binge the remainder of the book!

I loved the strength and fearlessness that Ana, in this book, even in her weak moments, she is nothing but fierce. We love books with a strong FMC, and she has absolutely met her match with Sam. This story has some amazing twists, with an ending that leaves you off satiated but wanting more.

Did I also mention, witches, demons, poetry, art, mystery and plot twists that have you hanging on for the ride!
