THIS. BOOK. IS. SO. GOOD.
I'm already dreaming about rereading this when there's a chill in the air and the leaves are changing
Watching these two macabre, beautiful, deadly, artistic souls fall for each other has actually been a pleasure.
They will do the scariest thing and then get steamy and then hit you with a heart warming conversation in their afterglow that will make your teeth hurt, it's so sweet

Death and his Tower will steal your heart and bury it in a
graveyard to keep forever. I'm swooning for Sam …..( and Rolfe, It's the beard for meeeeee ) HARD but Ana is just as sexy.
She knows she's a goddess and she uses it to her advantage AS SHE SHOULD.
And I knew I would love Mille as soon as she took a pair of
testicles out of her purse LOL
Sam and Ana each have an agenda and goals and my anxiety was spiked watching them delicately top toe around each other!
Thank Death that this is a duology and we're getting another book of these characters!

This is one of the best books I have read this year! A paranormal, more of an urban fantasy romance that has me needing to read the second book ASAP, I need more of these amazing characters! Sam and Ana 100% have a place in my top 5 favorite book couples!

This is more a character-driven book than plot. Is it more porn than plot? Yes! But that’s fine, I was in the mood for a mindless read at the time. Although I do find the premise intriguing the story is just waaaaay to slow for the mood-reader in me. I might revisit this one on a rainy day.
