Okay, I thought Garrett was a strong contender as my favorite male lead in the Briar U / Off-Campus Universe, but now I want a John Logan.

Yes he's an idiot in the beginning. Yeah he makes some really dumb decisions.

But Logan was absolutely adorable and a character I loved where I've had difficulty sometimes enjoying the male leads in this series. I swear I was kicking my feet and swooning and some of the stuff he was doing in this book.

Grace is the perfect balance for all that is Logan. She might be shy, but when riled up she has no problem calling her boyfriend out on his BS and it's so satisfying to watch. Responsible and reliable are probably good adjectives for her -- but she grows as a character and learns to stand her ground and not let people run all over her.

Loved this one -- can't wait for continue this series!

AMAZING!!! šŸ¤© I loved this book! As much as I loved Hannah & Garretā€™s book! & I canā€™t wait for Deans & Tuckers! I canā€™t get enough of them! I wanted sooo much more of Hannah & Garret, & I couldnā€™t imagine Logan & Graceā€™s story being as amazing, but it was, it really was! I canā€™t get enough of them either! & I canā€™t wait to see them in Dean & Tuckers stories & how in love they are, like we saw Hannah & Garret in this book!
But I really gotta stop reading romance books! Cause where are these guys in real life?! Garret & Logan are both HUGE players, until they meet their match, & then all of a sudden, you donā€™t understand how they were ever players, they are so romantic, & perfect! All of Loganā€™s romantic gestures made me swoon!!! I want a man like that!!! šŸ’œ

Eh, I found this one to be pretty lackluster. I loved The Deal and had high hopes for this next book in the series, but I struggled with the MCs, especially Logan. Hoping book #3 is better!

Elle Kennedy does it again: hard-hitting subjects woven beautifully with a love story. My heart hurts as I read Elleā€™s writing and yet it also feels so incredibly full. Iā€™ll read anything she writes.

Logan and Grace were fun to read about! I found Logan an appealing MMC - a romantic, well-intending, rehabilitated player - and the logical person to focus on for the second book. Loganā€™s determined, long-time pining for Grace, grand gestures included, is what we all wantā€¦ *effort.*

Hell, even Morris wants to date Logan!

I enjoyed how Hannah from the previous book helped Logan understand he didnā€™t actually want *her* but the type of relationship she has with Garrett. Loved their little cameos!

Loganā€™s loyalty to his family and willingness to ignore his own hockey dreams was heavy and tough to read about at times, not having experience with addiction, but made him that more endearing and that much better of a match for Grace.

Itā€™s a lot slower and calm than The Deal. Reading perspective from each of the guys are so cute. Like you can see how each of them approach serious relationship. I wonder what type of person Dean and Tucker is. But, when I read The Deal, I was icked out by how boys talk. Soā€¦ misogynistic. Which isn't a shock to me bcs well they're the most masculine men ever. I bet if they did a podcast, itā€™ll be a sanctuary for white, masculine men out there (Iā€™m rephrasing a quote I heard from Streamer Awards 2024). Logan and Graceā€™s relationship feels more matured than Hannah and Garrettā€™s

I give this a 4ā bcs I feel like it's a bit slow for me. It doesn't feel fast paced like The Deal but it's still good and I didn't feel like ā€œwhen itā€™s going to end?ā€ and I also has this energy where Iā€™m like ā€œanother chapter bcs I want to know moreā€ yk.
