DNF. Not for me. I just couldn't get into this and didn't care about the characters. I got another ebook I'd had on hold and jumped at the chance to read that, and I don't feel like going back to this one.

The book went far too in depth with unnecessarily frivolous plot points, and is written like a YA novel despite featuring no characters under the age of 20. Add on a dollop of painfully obvious plot twists, and a thoroughly bland cast of characters with little to no personality thanks to excessively detailed explanations of how magic works, and the book is just not for me.
