Okay. Final thoughts on Rupaul's book.
Man, RuPaul in the 90s writing this book but would be wiiiiiiild.
Stories filtered through A LOT of therapy and faux-mysticism are not as engaging to me.
Also, no chapter on fracking or H&M

I mean - I would listen to Rupaul read the phone book with pure delight. An honest, vulnerable memoir about believing in yourself and facing adversity to achieve your goals. There are places where adjectives feel out of place or events feel unclear, but all in all, it’s well written and positive.

"The House of Hidden Meanings" by RuPaul is an amazing memoir. Listening to RuPaul narrate his own story added an extra layer of authenticity and charm that had me hooked from start to finish. This memoir dives deep into RuPaul’s journey, from a queer Black kid in San Diego to becoming an international drag icon, sharing all the struggles and triumphs along the way. The themes of belonging, self-discovery, and addiction are beautifully woven through his storytelling. RuPaul's wit and wisdom really shine, making this not just a memoir, but a guide to living fearlessly. If you’re a fan of RuPaul or love a great life story, this audiobook is a must-listen!
