The same issue persisted throughout but I’m glad for the smut and the last minute understanding FINALLY. I can’t wait to read the next book.

I feel as if I’m the only one who is basically over this stubborn, lack of communication thing Riftan and Maxi have going on. I get it, it makes for good drama. But good grief! Just talk to each other! Even if it’s just to tell each other that you missed the other. But no, we can’t even do that until the last two pages. /rant

Don’t get me wrong, I do love this couple. I want them to be endlessly happy. But enough is enough.

Maxi and her insecurities bothered me half the time, but once the war was over it got a bit better, especially the revenge dress part lol! Excited for the next book. Love how riftan finally opened up.
