I wish the usage of the words mystic, chanting, mysterious, and such was non-existent in this book. And who puts a webpage article as a reference for a scientific claim? Altogether I find that the most beautiful parts of this book are simply verses from the Quran and it was nice to be reminded of some of them.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this book to anyone!! this book contains alot of SHIRK! it mostly promotes shia believes (no hate to shias, just stating a fact) and misguides you to the wrong path. I got very confused about it's teaching and almost began to follow the book but however when i checked the Quran, alot of things were completely different.

I loved this. A dear friend recommended this to me, which had been sitting on my shelf untouched for about 2 years bc I love to buy books (it's a real problem). I felt like reading it during Ramadan was really special, I will return to this book in the future particularly to do the guided exercises which I didn't have the space to do at the time.

I would write a book review but words simply will not do justice for the way this book has touched my soul in more ways than one. So here’s just a few of my favorite quotes that brought me closer to God, Love and myself.
━ ━ ━

“Do not fall in love with this fleeting world, do not get used to its comforts, because everything here is falling apart, dissolving, and decaying with the passage of time.”

“What is meant for you, will reach you even if it is beneath two mountains. And what is not meant for you will not reach you even if it’s between your two lips.”

“This world needs you. You matter beyond what words can capture, because the God who created all of existence chose to create you.”

“As Rumi says, ‘Inside the great mystery that is, we don’t really own anything. What is this competition we feel then, before we go, one at a time, through the same gate?’”

“Allow your inner light to spread like the morning sun, over and into the hearts of all the people you come across.”

“You presume you are a small entity, but within you is enfolded the entire universe...What you seek is within you, if only you reflect.”

I highly recommend this book. It’s the best book I’ve read so far on learning about islam. It doesn’t matter where you are in your spiritual journey right now, this book will be good for you.

I really took my time with it because each page contains so many gems and reading it slowly means i can get the boost bit by bit instead of all at once.

Thank you Helwa for opening our eyes to the Divine love that has always existed within us.
