Was entertaining, love the budding romance and the complex characters. The first book in a series is never my fav because I have to understand the world building but I’m sure the next book will be even better.

Holly Black has done it again, each chapter as the plot and characters danced around each other I fell more deeply into her trap. And again she stuns with her twists (which I should have, in hindsight, seen coming). 
Wren isn't Jude, but she's still a great protagonist and Oak... I WASN'T EXPECTING HIM TO BE A BADASS, THAT USED TO BE A SWEET CHILD
I know people are sad by the lack of Jude+Cardan and the usual crew, but this is still a worth sequel duology and a 5/5 stars read

It's Holly Black. Of course, I am going to give it 5 stars. Another absolutely beautiful book that ends with your jaw on the floor.
