Brief book with useful tips to end procrastination and achieving your goals. Much of the same from what you'll get from other books in the same field, but told in a much more concise manner.

Hardly worth the paper it's printed on, given that the content could have fit in a small pamphlet. Here are the key points that are interspersed with unverified quotes and unsubstantiated claims and statistics:

Get Started and Keep Going. Develop improved habits. Set Goals. Take responsibility for things you do (and things that happen to you). Face fears by facing what you fear - eventually it won't bother you. Keep going, if you're making mistakes. (This one seems to conflict with the standard wisdom of how to get out of a hole - stop digging.) Learn from your mistakes, which are "learning opportunities," not mistakes. Have clear goals and write ten of them down. The most important goal will drive you, and it's charmingly called the BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal). Organize and prioritize your goals, divide them into smaller steps, work on them every day. Get enough sleep, but before you go to sleep, make a list of what you're going to do the next day and strategize what will get done. Work first on high-value projects, leave email until later. Feel like a winner. Keep learning new things, perhaps using time set aside in daily routines. Get up early (because you'll want to get started and keep going toward your goals). Have positive self-talk. ("I don't give up. I am good at this.")

There you are. Do those things and you can probably knock out a short book of truisms every month or so.

A simple read, kind of repetitive, especially if you read other books from him.

This book is full of things that we all already know and have heard countless times. However they are things that we all need to hear over and over again. If you are looking to get motivated in life this is a short read that will inspire you to get off your butt and get things done.
