An unlikely heroine that you can't help but root for.

All of the characters in this Taylor Jenkins Reid Novel are flawed.  Carrie Soto seems like an unlikeable main character. As the story continues you begin to like Carrie more and more and can't help but to not only be invested in her come back but to root for her comeback.

You know a book is good when you are interested in something that you aren't normally invested in.  For me this was each and every tennis match.  I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next play.  I consumed this novel via audio book and it was fantastic.  The narrators made it seemed like you were there at the tennis match hearing both carries inner thoughts and the thoughts of the commentators.
