this was so good but I still have unanswered questions

like why was Madison Kate framed for murder/crime in book 1? = that wasn't explained.
Hades' reference was kinda confusing = not as relevant
Was it mentioned on why Declan is obsessed with her? I get that he was his mother's stalker but it doesn't make sense on why he fixated on MK afterwards = not as relevant

3...Finally finished this one, but it was my least favorite of this saga! The smut to plot ratio was not to my liking...YES! I like a plot with my porn...blah, blah, blah...Anyway, definitely team Archer...but I want something smut with a great story that can last through several novels....Anyone know of one???

I honestly don't know how I feel about this series. I liked parts of it. The relationships in the entire series seem very toxic to me. She is a friggin adult. She lived across the world. She comes home and suddenly everything is TOXIC. Literally every relationship she has made me cringe inside.

Why did I read to the end? Because I wanted the answers. I needed to see it through and hope that maybe the end would be conclusive, no, a HUGE cliffhanger.

I immediately went the "next" book and it doesn't have anything to do with MK or who Hades is (super disappointed). I don't know if I will continue to read the series or if I will set it aside and come back to it later.

I wanted so much to like MK and her guys. I think the only redeeming character from the whole series might be Cass.

✨ 3.5 Stars! I have to be honest, the final book felt a little anti-climactic and that's probably due to my high expectations after binging the first three in the series on audio. It wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be, nevertheless the enjoyment factor was still there; the series conclusion just wasn't as satisfying.
