A book entirely from Luke Castellan's point of view would be perhaps more culturally significant than that book from President Snow's.

And Rick's son is a dam good writer.

The short stories were fun, which is really what I picked this up for.

The book contain some short story included one story from Luke before he and Thalia met Annabeth. Somehow a kinda heartbreaking story.

3/5 cutesy little book

writing wise - i honestly never thought we’d get a luke pov, but i’m soooo glad we did. i missed percy‘s pov so bad!! the writing wasn’t as great as the main books, but they’re short stories so i don’t mind it.

plot wise - all the stories were fun and pretty lighthearted, except for luke’s. i liked them all!! it was interesting to see perspectives from kronos’ side of the war.

character wise - cmon now.

The stories were enjoyable. I liked all of them, and none really fell flat, but they were not as crucial as the DemiGod Files books. Like missing this book doesn't matter big picture which coming from a book where it did that felt like a missed opportunity.

A good small book with four short stories and various puzzles that expanded the Percy Jackson world a little and enabled new perspectives. Particularly in relation to Luke and Thalia and their story before they even arrived at Camp Half Blood and also how they met Annabeth.
It showed were Luke’s doubts started and his resentment towards the gods grew!!

It also shows how Percy and Annabeth had planned  a great day and the gods always kinda ruin their daily life.
At least they had a really sweet date in Paris!!

Leo, Piper and Jason's story was also cool to see and also how they their life at camp is before they meet up with the others.
And of course the last story with Alabaster was interesting to see how the demigods ,who fought on Kronos' side during the war in Manhattan, are doing now. I thought it was very sweet that Rick Rioardan let  his son write this short story!
All in all, a very cool addition and a solid book and and I'm excited to see what happens in the next Heroes of Olympus books.
