It’s a transitional volume dealing with the side effects from multiple crossovers, including Inhumanity, Battle of the Atom, and The Trial of Jean Grey. There’s not a lot of room between the three of those for a normal comic book, but they do the best they can. Issue #15 features all the girls going on a shopping trip, which is probably the best part. The other high point is #14, about Christopher Deeds, who mimics whoever is nearby by sorta turning into them. It’s really gay.

Wish this was all Bachalo art, but other than that no complaints really. Why do I feel like Hijack is now going to become a super villain and Cyclops is going to regret being so tough on him?

I felt this was the weakest entry of this series yet. There is lot of back and forth dialogue, but not a ton actually happens to move the plot forward.

This volume mentions a lot of goings on in the wider Marvel universe, but doesn't give any real context to how or why this matters for the Uncanny X-men. For example, a random Inhuman manifests its powers and then disappears. The original X-men also join forces with the Uncanny, for safety, but it doesn't really say safety from what.

The final part of this graphic novel also has the weirdest and hardest to read format I have seen. They aren't panels, but instead separated by zig zag lines!!!!

I was hoping by volume 3 the Uncanny X-men would have been making some progress either in healing their powers, actually tracking down their sentinel stalker, or just pushing the revolution forward, but the actual plot has just been creeping along...

Overall this one was only ok.

A well done filler collection between Battle Of The Atom shows us how the X-Books are fitting into the larger Marvel universe, as we have a shopping expedition that intersects with the Terrigenesis Bombing (where the Marvel Universe started being overrun with Inhumans), an explanatinn for what Nystique has been up to in the background of the Uncanny, All New, and Wolverine & The X-Men books, the weird Tabula Rosa thing in Montana, and what the Uncanny Team was doing when the All New team went into space with the Guardians Of The Galaxy.

I mostly enjoyed the stories in this volume, and the art. The exception being the final issue, which has inventive layouts and very different color palette, but is just basically a recap of the series from Cyclops's viewpoint (which has already been the main viewpoint for the series).

Inconsistent writing. Inconsistent art and a little bit of it actually bad. And yet the new characters are interesting and done well. The writing around Kitty confronting Scott was pretty good though. As was the shopping trip to London. The Magneto bit was annoying. 3.5 of 5.

What can I say, I enjoy the small intimate moments and the wacky ones.
++Superb art, Bachalo super refined and Rudy inventive.
++girls night out reminds me of Jubilee joining the X-Men.
++seeing Emma happy and the dynamic with the new bunch
-/+inhuman throw in was kind of eh...but didn't distract from character moments.
+++cyclops & kitty pryde face off... amazing
+new mutants really growing on me.
++issue 18 is just spectacular.. minus little quibbles on how the page is laid out.
+Magneto dealing with issues is interesting minor quibbles again with end pieces.
++these are separate stories but all ones that have character motivations tied to them... this is why and when I love X-Men, mesh up of personalities and powers is balanced perfectly.

This seems like a transitional volume--wrapping up a few loose ends, tying into whatever the F is going on with Inhumans, etc--and I'm not sure that I totally followed all of it but I did love the X-ladies night out and some other bits of fun dialogue/character development.

Want more inclusive story, less crossover.

I have no idea what this series is trying to be anymore. It feels like it has become a holding area for characters that aren't fitting in the rest of the Marvel universe (be those new mutants or somewhat familiar faces). That's really a shame because the stars of the series could make for a really compelling storyline, but instead all we get are rehashed moments and bits of other stories tied up here.

2.5 I do not love the style of drawing in the past few volumes.
