Blind rep
Queer rep

A total disappointment! This blurb is misleading af!!

The first chapter started out very cute, then the second chapter rudely burst through my door and I got whiplash.

Tago gets a sudden weird personality shift that screams 🚩red flag🚩
He says some suspicious things about his brother 🚩
He openly admits he agreed to date Ogi, not out of romantic interest or getting to know him better and see if he falls for him, but due to loneliness. He's using him as a replacement for his older brother which is bizarre 🚩

The characters and story are rather superficial. Not only that, Kanako was put into that role of the girl (friend) who has feelings for the (queer) MC and has to interfere somehow. She gets redeemed later, but seriously. Aren't we tired of this?!

I'm sure there are better queer books to translate than this, Tokyopop!

I keep getting bamboozled by the cute covers thinking it's wholesome.
It's not.. not? wholesome but it's got a little bit of spice that I wasn't expecting.

Cute character design :) hope it develops a bit more.

A star for the cute art style and a star for Ogi’s character, but the story is very weird vibes and made me kinda uncomfy. Tago is using Ogi and is kinda pushy and non-consent-y with him, and the brother stuff is weird. Definitely not the “sweet love story” promised on the back.

I was pretty excited to read this for it's queer and blind rep, but it was a bit disappointing. It feels underdeveloped, and the relationship feels extremely forced and some things were a bit uncomfortable.
