If you can’t read about cheating, this book is not for you. I will say I almost stopped reading because I was SO mad at Polo for disrespecting Kendra like that in the beginning. I pushed through though and it was worth it in the end.
This was so much more than a love story. Polo and Kendra both had rough upbringings, they both struggled mentally, and in this story they both cheated. Their relationship was extremely toxic, but they worked though so much.
What a freaking roller coaster of a story!!! I will say the ending upset me a bit, but it was definitely a raw story.
I listened to the audiobook and these narrators (Jakobi Diem & Wesleigh Siobhan) did a great job!

Flagrant foul on the play!!!!
I loved the book but hated the ending. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Alexandria House did her thing as usual but the ending, it's a no for me!!!

This book was an amazing roller-coaster of emotions. It showcased real life issues in relationships and that made even more amazing. Seeing them overcoming adversity after adversity made even more amazing as long. The then and now structure of the story gave it a whole lot of razzle dazzle as well. Praises to Alexandria. I sincerely enjoyed this with every fiber of my being.
