The narrator did a great job! At first, I thought the voice was a little whiny but then remembered she’s only 17 so it works well. 

It was an interesting story and I’m curious to see what happens next.

Sparked my interest in the beginning. The rest of it was pretty underwhelming. Very easy quick read. I listened to this on Everand and wasn't really a fan of the narrator so maybe that played a part in my opinion. She sounded like a 12 year old girl. The book felt like a prologue in its entirety. Felt like I was waiting for a drop that never came. I've heard that it gets better by each book...so I'm going read the next one. I did like how the pacing seemed pretty quick and not drawn out. It just didn't wow me.

3.5 stars. Intriguing! Kinda feels like a YA dystopian X-Men fanfic, specifically centered around Rogue. Interested to see where the series goes. 

Felt like the romance overshadowed the rest of the plot at times. Two characters declare repeatedly how much they love each other, but I happen to know it's not gonna last. 

Currently can't stand Aaron Warner. Cautiously interested to see why he seems to be such a favorite character among fans.

Ending was kinda abrupt.
