‘The family gather at Mireworth for their first Christmas and Hannah is determined to unravel the secrets within its walls. Why did Wycliff's ancestor hide the tower, and what grip did the long ago shadow-mage cast over his family? With Barnes as her assistant, Hannah sets out to discover the truth.’

Mistletoe and Mireworth is the epilogue Christmas novella to Tilly Wallace’s Manners and Monsters series.
I was somehow convinced that I had already written and posted a review for this, but apparently not so let me remedy that.
I’m glad that this epilogue novella was written because it helped to tie up the loose ends from the series. It feels almost more that this novella could have been part of the last book in the series, Hessians and Hellhounds. I wish there had been less questions at the conclusion of the final full-length book of the series, but as there were this novella addressed them very well.
It was lovely to see Hannah and Wycliff settling into the lives at Mireworth and enjoying a lovely Christmas as a family. I’m sad to see this series end, but it ended well.

This was a great way to end the series. I love that Mary and Frank got to get married. Barnes found love in his own way and that Hannah and WyCliff got their HEA.

Not as good as the rest of the series but we loved them so much we had to give it a try. It was quite cute.

Here we go, with the first christmassy read of the year!
Mistletoe and Mireworth by Tilly Wallace is placed after the main series, so don't read it before you finished those, otherwise it'll be a big spoiler and a tad confusing.
As a quick epilogue of a story it was entertaining and comforting to read, as we learn more about some of the side characters, as well as unsolving some mysteries. So as just another extension of the series it's well worth it!
As a Christmas story it didn't have enough of seasonal bits to be satisfactory purely on that aspect. As it can't be read as a stand alone anyway, that wasn't a problem for me though.
