Molière has been one of my favorite french writer since I had to read him in school and I have to say, he didn't disappoint me this time. Funny and brilliant as always, he creates a atmosphere that let's you feel the absurdities of his time like no one else.

i swear i tried SO HARD to read this in the original french but. the words. were just not wording. like i recognized maybe half of them and because this is a play and there aren't really full sentences and also its from like 400 years ago i couldn't context clue my way through. suffice to say i pulled up an english translation
anyway this was so good. such a goofy play. everyone is so silly. toinette is an absolute queen. people in 1600s france were just vibing i guess. i should read more of these.
also moliere is such a drama queen lmao. he collapsed while performing this play and insisted on finishing it and died. go big or go home i guess.
