Read aloud to Gwen and Alec. As much as I loved the first book in this series, book 2 was a little more disappointing. Yes, the STEM aspects were a little over the top and silly in both, but this was so hard to believe (their survival in the time of the dinosaurs, no food or shelter, saving a dino egg, etc) but the friendship and teamwork aspects were still spot on.
